Genesis Gaming Solutions' BRAVO Pit Chosen by Norwegian Cruise Line

LAS VEGAS, March 19, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Genesis Gaming Solutions, Inc., a leader in table games management and player tracking systems, announced today that its BRAVO Pit table management and player tracking system has been selected by Norwegian Cruise Line to manage the casino table games on its newest ships, Norwegian Breakaway and Norwegian Getaway, both of which are currently under construction.

The BRAVO Pit system is a complete table game management and player tracking system designed for more efficient player ratings and pit management utilizing electronic data collection.  BRAVO Pit allows for easy input and tracking of all ratings and management functions.  Players are rated electronically and given credit for play immediately. 

Norwegian Cruise Line will also install the BRAVO Pit Card and Chip Detection (CCD) System on gaming tables in these new ships.  The CCD system uses patented technology featuring light sensors embedded under the table felts to detect when cards or chips are placed in position and signals to the system that a wager is being played at that spot.  The system tracks table play using exact hand counts for more accurate player rating and reward calculations, as well as correctly measured operational metrics, such as dealer speed and efficiency.  Casinos can track any proposition bet on a game, enabling more accurate data for cost to benefit analysis of a particular side wager.

Norwegian Breakaway and Norwegian Getaway are both under construction and scheduled for delivery in April 2013 and January 2014, respectively. Known as New York's ship, Norwegian Breakaway will be the largest vessel to homeport year-round in the city, sailing to Bermuda for the summer beginning May 12, 2013.  Norwegian Getaway, the largest ship to homeport year-round in Miami, will sail Eastern Caribbean voyages beginning in February 2014.  Both ships will feature an impressive Casino at Sea, complete with player favorites in slots and table games, including Blackjack, Craps, Roulette, Texas Hold 'Em and Poker.
