General Motors President Dan Ammann Kicks Off 2014 United Way Community Giving Campaign
DETROIT, Sept. 18, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Dan Ammann, United Way for Southeastern Michigan's Campaign Chair and President of General Motors, will light the United Way Torch in Hart Plaza to kick-off the fall 2014 Community Giving campaign, "Because of You." The campaign theme "Because of You" honors the collaboration of people from all industries and walks of life who are working together on issues like Education, Basic Needs and Financial Stability to help us reach our goal of making Greater Detroit one of the top five places in the nation.
The United Way torch is a symbol of hope and dedication, as well as a tribute to the generous spirit of the citizens of greater Detroit.
