General Dynamics Receives DARPA Contract for Continued Classified Network Support Services
General Dynamics will provide highly specialized network services to optimize DARPA's enterprise system
FAIRFAX, Va., Aug. 2, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) recently awarded a follow-on contract to General Dynamics Mission Systems to provide classified network services, support and infrastructure. The contract has a total potential value of $149 million over a five-year period of performance if all options are exercised.
Under this contract, General Dynamics Mission Systems will continue to deliver flexible, scalable and high-level classified network and systems development, design and management to accommodate past, present and future technologies. Supporting tools and applications will maximize system functionality, performance and accessibility within diverse environments. Additionally, General Dynamics Mission Systems will provide Insider Threat monitoring and reporting solutions designed to aide DARPA in early detection of malicious behavior to keep information on the classified network safe and secure.
