ARLINGTON, Va., Dec. 17, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- The Society of Chemical Manufacturers & Affiliates (SOCMA) is pleased to announce that Gene Williams, President of Optima Chemical Group, has been elected as Chairman of its Board of Governors. The association also elected officers to serve on its Executive Committee and added five new members to the Class of 2021 during its 97th Annual Business Meeting on Monday, December 10, in New York.
"It is an honor to lead this organization and serve with this outstanding group of specialty and fine chemical industry professionals during this exciting time of revitalization and growth," said Williams.
