PLANO, Texas, Nov. 17, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- GENBAND™, a leading provider of real-time communications solutions, today announced that its ongoing strategic marketing alliance with TelcoBridges is enabling successful operational customer deployments around the world.
"We partnered with TelcoBridges because our solutions complement each other effectively and deliver real value to our end customers," said John McCready, GENBAND's EVP, Product and Corporate Development. "Just a year into the strategic relationship we're already seeing some great uptake and look forward to more."
The combined GENBAND and TelcoBridges solution enables customers to leverage existing equipment cost-effectively and gain the required scale via a license-activated business model. Both smaller businesses, which have previously been unable to access these services due to the high entry point, and larger companies seeking more control over their operations than is offered by less flexible plans can benefit from this approach.
"Our strategic relationship with GENBAND allows us to support customers with the carrier-grade solutions that help them best leverage their existing resources and enjoy the benefits of advanced solutions," added Richard Gendron, CEO of TelcoBridges.
Bundling TelcoBridges' TMG800 or TMG 3200 with GENBAND's C20, Application Server and C3 enables GENBAND to extend the core network to customer premises, connect smaller, remote sites to the core, and provide TDM support to IP applications, allowing for better access and enhanced solutions.
TelecoBridges' TMG platform can also be remotely configured and upgraded, reducing the number of site visits required for maintenance. Further benefits are available to customers who have already deployed TMG, and can now access support for those products from GENBAND through GBCare. Meanwhile, end-users can keep their existing PBX and benefit from associated productivity gains.
