CHANDLER, Ariz., April 11, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- When 26-year-old Abby Goodman finished college, she found the "Freshman 15" most college students pack-on had more than doubled. The 5' 4" Phoenix resident was topping the scales at 158 pounds with what she describes as unsightly love handles creeping over the waistline of her blue jeans.

"After years of my brother and father teasing me about my weight, looking at a picture of myself from a wedding rehearsal, and trying to squeeze my love handles into jeans, I realized that it was time to make a change," Abby recounts.

She admits she had tried various "yo-yo" diets, but nothing was working because she just couldn't breakthrough the mental block that was keeping her from reaching her goal.

"I wanted so badly to feel good about myself and fit into clothes that I wish I could wear, and I wanted to look good in a bathing suit," she added.
