Gen Y Woman Finds Health Solutions With Arizona-Based Health & Wellness Company
CHANDLER, Ariz., April 11, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- When 26-year-old Abby Goodman finished college, she found the "Freshman 15" most college students pack-on had more than doubled. The 5' 4" Phoenix resident was topping the scales at 158 pounds with what she describes as unsightly love handles creeping over the waistline of her blue jeans.
"After years of my brother and father teasing me about my weight, looking at a picture of myself from a wedding rehearsal, and trying to squeeze my love handles into jeans, I realized that it was time to make a change," Abby recounts.
She admits she had tried various "yo-yo" diets, but nothing was working because she just couldn't breakthrough the mental block that was keeping her from reaching her goal.
"I wanted so badly to feel good about myself and fit into clothes that I wish I could wear, and I wanted to look good in a bathing suit," she added.
Abby signed up for the IsaBody Challenge, a transformational contest put on by the Chandler based health and wellness company Isagenix. She started with the Isagenix 30-Day Plan and she coupled it with help from a personal trainer.
"The minute I started to see the changes in my body, my motivation increased. Not only has my physical appearance changed, my energy levels have increased, I am sleeping better and my confidence level has increased substantially. Point blank – I feel good about myself for the first time in many years."
The IsaBody finalist attributes her success to the convenience of Isagenix products and how they fit her lifestyle perfectly.
"My life is based on routine and Isagenix fits perfectly into that daily routine. I don't have to think about it, the shakes, e+ shots, cleanse, and Ionix are all components of my body transformation. I want to inspire others in my generation that the possibilities with Isagenix are endless," said Abby.
Abby has lost a total of 34 pounds of unhealthy fat while building a leaner, toner body.
"No more teasing and fat girl comments! The praise and remarks my dad and brother made when they saw my before and after pictures has meant the world to me."
