Geller & Company Names Jerry Leamon Vice Chairman of Advisory Board
Long-Time Senior Deloitte Executive Brings Nearly 40 Years of Experience to Geller
NEW YORK, April 26, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Geller & Company, a leading strategic financial advisory firm, today announced that Jerry P. Leamon has been named Vice Chairman of Geller's Advisory Board. Mr. Leamon was until recently Global Managing Director of Deloitte, one of the world's largest professional services firm, and was a member of the firm's senior leadership body. Mr. Leamon will bring his unique and valuable experience to this newly created position, as he advises Martin Geller, founder and Chief Executive Officer, and the firm's senior leadership team on a wide range of business matters.
Mr. Leamon and Mr. Geller have a long-standing relationship built over many years of working together on matters in which Deloitte and Geller have collaborated. Mr. Leamon's vast expertise in all of Geller's business areas will support the firm as it grows and develops each of its business lines, continues to improve its products and services, and considers expansion into new areas.
The addition of Mr. Leamon follows last month's hiring of Robert Wedeking as Chief Investment Officer of Geller Family Office Services (GFOS), further bolstering that business' capabilities.

Mr. Leamon served until 2011 as a Global Managing Director of Deloitte. He served on Deloitte's Global Executive, the firm's senior leadership body, for 16 years. He also served for 12 years on the Board of Directors of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Limited, the firm's global organization and for six years on the Board of Directors of Deloitte's U.S. member firm.
Over his four decade career with the firm, and as a partner for 30 years, Mr. Leamon established a reputation as a leading client service professional with hands-on experience in the financial services, consumer products, manufacturing, technology, media and telecommunications (TMT) industries. He created and served in a series of new roles and structures with worldwide reach, serving as the first-ever Global Managing Director of Tax & Legal Services; Clients & Markets, with responsibility for overseeing programs directed towards all segments of the firm's client portfolio; Merger & Acquisition Services; and Services, responsible for leadership and oversight of Deloitte's core businesses (Audit, Tax, Consulting, Financial Advisory).
Mr. Leamon served as Chair of Deloitte's Global Innovation Network, leading a group of 25 partners from around the world focused on helping the firm identify and act on emerging client service-related issues, opportunities, and technologies. He was also founder and Vice Chair of the Deloitte Center for Cross-Border Investment, which promoted a focus on marketplace issues and thought leadership with respect to cross-border investment and transactions.
Well-regarded as a strategist and innovator, Mr. Leamon has served in leadership and advisory partner roles for numerous public companies and private clients among the Fortune Global 200 and 500. He has successfully built alliances and joint ventures and achieved extraordinary operating performance in all leadership roles.
