GEI Consultants Hires Water Resources Practice Leader, William H. Lynch, P.E., to Expand Services in Florida
BOSTON, Oct. 16, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- GEI Consultants, Inc., one of the nation's leading geotechnical, environmental, water resources, and ecological science and engineering firms, is pleased to announce that William H. Lynch, P.E., has joined the firm as a water resources practice leader to increase the firm's presence and expertise in Florida. Mr. Lynch is a recognized leader having worked as a consultant in the industry for over 30 years. He has significant experience in water resources management consulting on potable water, wastewater, watershed and storm water related issues for local and regional agencies and industries, and has technical and management experience with compliance assessments and planning, due diligence, and soil and groundwater contamination projects.
Mr. Lynch has worked for many significant clients. For South Florida Water Management District, he served as principal-in-charge and/or engineer-of-record for many notable projects completed over the past. For the Florida Governmental Utility Authority, from 1999 through 2009, he worked as an extension of staff for the water and wastewater utility on numerous consulting, engineering and capital projects program delivery assignments. For Monterey Mushrooms, Inc. and predecessors from 1990 to the present, he recently was the project manager and engineer-of-record for planning, permitting, design and construction of their new two-phase non-discharging, 100% reuse industrial wastewater management facility.

He currently serves as Chair of the FL Institute of Consulting Engineers' Water Resources Committee, member of the American Council of Engineering Companies Energy and Environment Committee, and Governing Board Member of Leadership Palm Beach County.
