GEI Consultants Hires Jerry Pena, Jr., P.E. as Senior Consultant in Denver
BOSTON, Nov. 17, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- GEI Consultants, Inc., one of the nation's leading geotechnical, environmental, water resources, and ecological science and engineering firms, is pleased to announce that Jerry Peña, Jr., P.E., has joined the firm as a Senior Consultant in the company's Central Region, working from GEI's Denver office.
Mr. Peña has served both public and private sector clients throughout the Rocky Mountain region during his 28 year career. His expertise includes wet infrastructure facilities design, water resource planning, environmental permitting and remediation, construction services, public outreach, and management consulting. He also brings additional leadership, mentorship, program and project management experience to the engineering division of the Rocky Mountain and Central region.
Prior to joining GEI, Mr. Peña worked for CDM Smith as a client services manager and office leader. While at CDM Smith, he focused on the transportation, water resources and other water related fields. Before CDM Smith, he was a Vice President at MWH, serving as the operations manager and client service manager. He has worked for many clients in the Rocky Mountains and central United States, including: the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation, U.S. Department of Defense, Northern Colorado Water Conservancy District, Colorado Springs Utilities, Aurora Water, Southeastern Colorado Water Conservancy District, and the Colorado Water Conservation Board.
