GEARWRENCH® Introduces New 120XP™ Extra-Long Handle Ratchets
New products combine the ultra-narrow swing arc of GEARWRENCH 120XP ratchets with extra-long handles for unprecedented access
SPARKS, Md., Oct. 31, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- GEARWRENCH®, a premier hand tool brand from Apex Tool Group, known for tools that deliver speed, strength, and access, today unveiled four new additions to its line of 120XP ultra-narrow swing arc ratchets. Three new extra‑long handle ratchets, measuring 9", 18", and 24" long, and a two-piece set now join the growing line. 120XP ratchets feature 120 positions for every full rotation, allowing them to turn fasteners with a swing arc of as little as three degrees.
120XP Double-Stacked Pawl™ technology provides an ultra-narrow swing arc, allowing users to reach fasteners in severely limited access applications, while still delivering the strength and durability that have become synonymous with all GEARWRENCH tools. All 120XP ratchets have a 60-tooth gear that alternately engages the double-stacked pawls to produce the 120 positions and three-degree swing arc. The double-stacked pawls exceed ASME torque performance specifications.

Like all 120XP ratchets, the new extra-long handle models have a teardrop-shaped low profile head and flush mounted on/off switch with highly visible on/off markings for improved access in tight spaces. The enclosed head design resists dirt infiltration.

- Cat. No. 81269 – 3/8" Drive Extra-Long Handle Ratchet (18" long)

- Cat. No. 81271 – 2-Piece Set, containing 1/4" and 3/8" Drive Extra-Long Handle Ratchets
