GDS International to Reveal Cutting Edge Solutions at its Fourth Next Generation Supply Chain Australia Summit in April
CAIRNS, Australia, February 26, 2013 /PRNewswire/ --
An exclusive selection of Australia's most influential executives will convene in Cairns for two-and-a-half days of focused workshops, peer led panel discussions and working lunches at GDS International's fourth Next Generation Supply Chain Australia summit (NG Supply Chain AU4).
This event will take place on the 30th of April to the 2nd of May 2013 at the five-star Shangri-La Hotel in Cairns. Having previously run three successful NG Supply Chain summits in Australia, this year's event also promises to be invaluable, with attendees discussing a range of cutting edge topics, including: talent management, next generation leadership and the changing workforce, supply chain and innovation. Delegates will also be looking at broader issues, including supply chain capability and the chain of responsibility.
Mark Robinson, National Logistics Manager for Reliance Petroleum, was an attendee at the event last year. He said: "What makes the summit stand out for me is the quality of the presentations. The seminars were of fantastic value. There was a lot of great information coming from like-minded people from across the industry, and the quality of the attendees was also at a really fantastic level."
Attending NG Supply Chain Australia this year will be: David Whytcross, GM Logistics & Fulfilment for Fosters; Bernardo Machado, Director Supply Chain Services ANZ for Reckitt Benkiser; David Hix, Director Supply Chain for Nestle; Ian Palliser, MD Group Optimisation & Supply Chain for Fonterra; and Joe Vurchio, Supply Chain Director for Johnson and Johnson.
Gina Perrin, NG Supply Chain Summit Director for GDS International, the global events company behind the summit, says: "We are very excited to kick off this year's NG Supply Chain summit. With 50 C-level and VP-level executives from some of the top companies in Australia attending, the summit promises to be an excellent two-and-a-half days of peer led, high level discussions on some of the most pressing issues impacting the supply chain sector in Australia today.
