EAU CLAIRE, Wis., April 4, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Gingras, Cates & Wachs (GCW) Lawyers, known for their ground-breaking personal injury and civil rights work in Wisconsin, announces the addition of attorney Joseph Bauer to the Eau Claire office.
Bauer specializes in personal injury litigation and has a strong conviction that the legal system should be available to everyone. "We are extremely excited to have Joseph join the GCW Lawyers team in Eau Claire," said Beverly Wickstrom, Partner at GCW Lawyers. "His dedication to fight for what is right truly embraces our GCW philosophy."
During his time at Mitchell Hamline School of Law, Joseph served as a student attorney in Anoka and Ramsey County offices of the Public Defender, where he saw firsthand how intimidating and confusing the legal system can be for people without proper representation. Through this experience, Joseph's conviction for justice and passion for advocacy became his main focus.
His interest in law began at a young age. "When I was nine months old, an incident at an at-home daycare center made me a very young plaintiff in my first personal injury suit," said Bauer. "Since then, I have been drawn to the profession through incredible role-models and a passion for the cause of liberty."
GCW has represented and served Wisconsin for more than 35 years, with notable casework such as the sexual assault case against Lawrence University and civil rights lawsuit for two Milwaukee pastors who were allegedly racially profiled in Waukesha County.
