GCR Inc. Appoints New Director of Public Sector, Technology Management Solutions

NEW ORLEANS, Dec. 8, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- GCR Inc. is proud to announce the addition of Edward Kerkow to their leadership team in the position of Technology Delivery Executive.

Mr. Kerkow will support GCR's Technology Management Solutions efforts on a nationwide basis from their office in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Mr. Kerkow comes to GCR Inc. from New Orleans Municipal Government where he most recently served as the City's Interim Chief Information Officer (CIO). In this role, Edward and his team were responsible for developing and executing technology strategies to support the delivery of City Services.

Prior to the CIO position at the City of New Orleans, Edward served as Vice President of Operations within the State and Local Government Division of Affiliated Computers Services, A Xerox Company. Additional experience includes senior positions with large Systems Integration firms including EDS/HP and Lockheed Martin.

Mr. Kerkow holds a Master of Science degree from Texas A&M University. He also holds undergraduate degrees from St. John's University. Additionally, he completed EDS' Systems Engineering Development (SED) Program in Computer Science.
