GCG Promotes Emily Gottlieb to Assistant Vice President, Midwest Operations
Industry leader recognized for legal expertise and client commitment
LAKE SUCCESS, N.Y., June 15, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- The Garden City Group, Inc. (GCG), one of the largest claims administration firms in the country, announced today that Emily Gottlieb has been promoted to assistant vice president, Midwest Operations.
Based in GCG's Chicago office, Gottlieb will manage all aspects of GCG's continued growth and business development in the Midwest region, and the coordination of GCG's Midwest practice with its operations nationwide.

Gottlieb has extensive experience in claims administration and complex legal matters, which includes her work as a bankruptcy attorney. Having previously acted as senior director, Bankruptcy at GCG, Gottlieb will use her professional experience and capabilities in the areas of management, client service and business development to facilitate and oversee the further expansion of the company's Midwest practice.

Prior to joining GCG, Gottlieb practiced as a bankruptcy attorney at DLA Piper US LLP and Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP. She is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of Michigan and received her juris doctor magna cum laude from Loyola University Chicago School of Law.
