G.C. Andersen Partners Capital Completes Financing For Acquisition Of Leading Trampoline Park Company
NEW YORK, Sept. 28, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- G.C. Andersen Partners, LLC ("G.C. Andersen"), a New York-based investment bank, has announced that Flight Fit N Fun, LLC ("Flight" or the "Company") has acquired Flight Entertainment, LLC. Financing for the transaction was provided by Gladstone Capital Corporation (NASDAQ: GLAD) ("Gladstone Capital") through a combination of first lien debt and equity. Gladstone Capital Corporation is a publicly traded business development company that invests in debt and equity securities in small and medium-sized businesses.
Flight, a leading operator of indoor trampoline parks in the Eastern U.S., participates in one of the newest and fastest growing segments of the leisure market because they provide great family entertainment and exercise. The Company's parks are large family entertainment facilities where customers of all ages can participate in active social outings and parties, lively corporate gatherings or intense individual workouts.
G.C. Andersen, through its wholly-owned broker-dealer, G.C. Andersen Partners Capital, LLC, acted as exclusive financial advisor and placement agent to Flight. G.C. Andersen continues to remain very active in arranging debt and equity financing, having raised almost $400 million for its clients over the last twelve months.
"Flight was an attractive acquisition that represents the platform from which we plan to build a large family entertainment and attractions business," said John Duran, Flight's new CEO, adding, "Trampoline parks are the newest and fastest growing segment of the leisure market. The fun and fitness-centered nature of the venues are gaining tremendous popularity and quickly replacing the traditional arcade and bowling birthday party and events venues. G.C. Andersen was very effective at understanding our business and communicating the value of this opportunity to potential financial partners. We look forward to our new partnership with Gladstone Capital as we grow Flight through a combination of opening new locations and acquiring additional businesses."
Scott Hadfield, G.C. Andersen's Managing Director, added, "As a result of our strong relationships throughout the financial community, we were able to facilitate the acquisition of Flight by this seasoned team of successful entrepreneurs. This is our second completed transaction with Gladstone Capital, and we are confident that the partnership with Gladstone will position the Company for substantial organic and acquisition growth."
