Gaun First Catch Center Fishing Meet-Up Event - Leesport
PHILADELPHIA, Aug. 30, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission's (PFBC) Gaun First Catch Center (GFCC) is conducting a Fishing Meet-Up Event for carp and catfish on Thursday, September 6 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Blue Marsh Lake, Church Road Access Area, Berks County.
Fishing meet-up events are social gatherings for anyone interested in learning more about the basics of fishing. This informal event is the perfect opportunity to socialize, learn, and share fishing experiences with other anglers. The PFBC provides equipment, bait, and tackle. PFBC staff will be present to teach skills and assist those who fish. Participants may also bring their own tackle.

The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission's (PFBC) Gaun First Catch Center (GFCC) is made possible through the generosity of the Samuel Gaun estate, and is operated in partnership with the Recreational Boating and Fishing Foundation (RBFF). The Gaun First Catch Center provides opportunities to learn about fishing or improve existing skills in Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia counties.
