Gaumard Scientific Exhibits the World's Most Realistic, Advanced and Versatile, Victoria Simulator, at IMSH 2016

MIAMI, Jan. 18, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Gaumard® Scientific Company today announced that it is exhibiting the Victoria™ Tetherless Maternal and Neonatal Birthing Simulator's many advanced capabilities at The International Meeting on Simulation in Healthcare (IMSH) through Jan. 20 at the San Diego Convention Center.  With the most features of any simulator, the fully tetherless and wireless Victoria already meets the rigorous requirements of obstetrics programs and now she takes the learning experience one step further with the addition of new accessories for gynecologic and nursing programs.  Victoria users now have access to three simulators in one complete package for improved educational opportunities and reduced acquisition costs.

The recently launched Nursing and Gynecologic Pack adds non-gravid features to Victoria for "head-to-toe" assessments and routine exams as may be performed by GYN nurses, physician interns, or residents. Additionally, an all-new Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) leg introduced at IMSH enables practitioners to simulate care for patients with the all too common issue of thrombosis in pregnancy and further enhances Victoria's realism.

Health care education programs using Victoria benefit not just from her mobility and realism, but also from the ability to train for everything from the many complexities that may arise during childbirth and postpartum care of the mother and newborn to nursing and gynecologic clinical assessments.
