Gary Weihs Joins Kincannon & Reed Global Executive Search

WASHINGTON, Dec. 1, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Kincannon & Reed, the leading global retained executive search firm serving the food, agribusiness, and life sciences sectors, today announced that Gary Weihs has joined the firm as a Managing Director.

Weihs has held senior executive positions in Fortune 100 companies and entrepreneurial startups. Based in Iowa, Weihs will serve clients both throughout North America and internationally.

Weihs joins Kincannon & Reed from Proliant Dairy, a division of Laurisden Group, where he most recently served as CEO.  Prior to that, Gary was COO of RDO Equipment, which owns and operates the largest group of John Deere dealerships in North America.

In the consumer products, food and feed arenas, Weihs has over 15 years of progressive management experience in strategy, manufacturing, and supply chain roles with Procter & Gamble, Pepsi, and ConAgra. In addition, he headed Monsanto Crop Protection's supply chain for the Americas, and served as Global VP/GM of Industrial Products for Solutia. His entrepreneurial experiences in agribusiness include starting and managing large pork, dairy, and farming operations in U.S., Brazil, and Eastern Europe

Weihs received his MBA from Harvard Business School, and holds a BS in Civil Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines.
