Gary Wahlgren Appointed USF Federal Credit Union's New Assistant Vice President of Consumer Lending
TAMPA, Fla., July 17, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- The USF Federal Credit Union (USF FCU) has announced Gary Wahlgren as the new Assistant Vice President of Consumer Lending effective July 1, 2013.
Wahlgren will oversee all aspects of the Credit Union's Consumer and Business lending operations to ensure financial objectives, regulatory compliance and service standards are met. He will be responsible for developing and implementing lending programs, underwriting standards, training programs and lending procedures.
Wahlgren stated, "I am very pleased to be a part of the USF FCU Team. My goals are to ensure all lending best practices are in place to support our service and regulatory requirements, benefitting the credit union and its members."
Wahlgren comes to USF FCU with over 30 years of experience in the financial industry. He most recently served as Chief Operating Officer at Marine Credit Union. Prior to that role, he was Chief Lending Officer at Partners Federal Credit Union. He has also served on the Board of Directors for the Central Florida Chapter of Credit Unions.
