"We are very pleased with the findings articulated in the Garter Magic Quadrant for DCIM," said Bill Slessman, president of IO Technology. "IO customers have trusted the IO.OS to intelligently control their data centers since 2012. We believe IO's placement in this Magic Quadrant acknowledges our partnership with our customers and their contribution to the development of DCIM capability built on the IO.OS core services."
According to the report, "By 2017, Gartner forecasts that DCIM tools will be deployed in more than 60% of the larger data centers in North America."
IO.OS provides customers with visibility across the entire data center – from the power, cooling and network to the IT stack. IO.OS goes beyond traditional DCIM by providing customers with the ability to control their data center remotely for a true "lights-out" data center.
IO's data center products and services have been adopted by some of the most demanding users of technology, including Goldman Sachs, LexisNexis, Allianz and more than 650 other customers worldwide.
