Gartner Adds Evolve IP To The Magic Quadrant for Disaster Recovery as a Service (DRaaS)

WAYNE, Pa., July 7, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Evolve IP, The Cloud Services Company™, today announced that it has been recognized in Gartner's 2016 Magic Quadrant for Disaster Recovery as a Service (DRaaS). As noted in the report, Gartner included just 20 firms in the Magic Quadrant of over 250 available providers. In fact, Gartner estimates that from 2016 through 2020, the use of either DRaaS or IaaS to support the failover of production applications will grow by more than 200%. Of those surveyed, less than half, 45.5%, felt they were "very prepared" to recover their assets in the event of a disaster and more than one third (34.5%) had suffered from an incident that required disaster recovery.
