Garnero supports Dilma Rousseff's infrastructure's plans by launching BOB - Brasilinvest Oil, Gas and Biofuel
SAO PAULO, Aug. 17, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Brazil quickly took one of the leading roles at the energy sector with the worldly rising interest on sugarcane biofuel and with the discovery of the massive pre-salt layer at the Brazilian coast.
By creating BOB – Brasilinvest Oil, Gas and Biofuel, Brasilinvest Group merged the growth of this new market with its own expertise of almost 40 years in international businesses.
BOB will be under the leadership of Paulo Roberto Costa, former director of Petrobras and one of the most influential authorities in the sector in Latin America.
The company will operate supporting the logistics and infrastructure of the oil and fuel sector following the priority established by former president Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, widened by president Dilma Rousseff, and executed by Petrobras's president, Graca Foster.
Mario Garnero, chairman of the board of Brasilinvest Group and a pioneer on the use of ethanol in Brazil, when he chaired the "National Automakers Association", in 1979, believes that this is more than the launch of a new company, it is the best statement that Brasilinvest Group can make to its investors: "Brazil is no longer an emerging country; it is now a power house that will fuel up the world with new ideas and solutions in this century."
