Gardner-White Furniture to Host a Job Fair on Monday, August 13

WARREN, Mich., Aug. 10, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Gardner-White Furniture is expanding to new locations around metro Detroit and needs to hire 100 people to fill sales staff positions, plus a variety of other full and part-time opportunities.  To accomplish this, the family-owned, Michigan-based chain of furniture showrooms will host a job fair Monday, August 13 from 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM at its Canton store located at 39450 Ford Road, Canton, MI  next to Home Depot. We will be hiring for our Canton, Taylor, Southfield stores. We will also be hiring for our new store opening inside Best Buy in West Oaks in Novi, MI.  Immediate interviews will be available for all open positions.  Opportunities include sales, customer service, drivers, furniture assemblers, warehouse, service technicians, office support, stock and housekeeping.  Gardner-White employees enjoy flexible schedules, healthcare benefits, paid holidays and vacations, a 401k plan, employee discounts, opportunities for advancement and outstanding income potential.  Sales staff earn an average annual income of $52,000; top producers can earn in excess of $105,000.
