Gamma Pharmaceuticals Inc, Announces Repeat Purchase Order from Major Distributor and Hires Dedicated Salesperson

ST. PAUL, Minn., March 14, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Gamma Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: GMPM) announced today, the receipt of repeat purchase orders for Gamma Energy GEL, both 17 gram and 80 gram pack sizes from the Company's Houston-based distribution partner. The order represents an increased commitment from Gamma's distributor and affirmation of the Company's distribution strategy.   Gamma's management believes that Gamma Energy GEL™ will quickly take its place alongside industry leader 5 Hour Energy™ and the two brands will fight for market share in the $10 billion energy product market. Gamma's management is of the opinion that the days of the energy drink have passed and Gamma's patent pending great tasting Energy GEL will win with consumers.  Today, Gamma Energy GEL is selling throughout Texas, in the Midwest and in the New York Metropolitan area. The Company plans to expand nationally in the months ahead and has recently secured a vendor number from a major national chain.

Gamma and its Houston-based distribution partner are cooperating on deployment of a dedicated sales representative, territory expansion, and new outlet opening. The Distributor currently covers over 2,000 outlets in the Southwest US and is expanding their distribution footprint.  Recently, Gamma hired a senior sales executive with a long history of success with both chain and independent outlets in Texas and the Southwest. His sales history in the area has enabled him to make an immediate impact.  Later this month, Gamma will participate in a major Houston area trade show to promote Gamma Energy GEL to new retail accounts.

On March 7, 2012, Gamma announced a Key Appointment its Sales and Marketing department. Today's announcement is in keeping with the Company's push to make expanding sales the top priority in 2012.
