Gallaher Announces Latest Promotions and New Hires

KNOXVILLE, Tenn., Aug. 15, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Gallaher, the region's leading life safety and asset protection solutions provider, announced today the hiring of 18 new employees and nine promotions.

"We were fortunate enough to grow 21.6 percent in 2016 and have continued to grow geographically as well," said Breck Ellison, COO at Gallaher. "That expansion has lead us to establish staff in the Nashville market, as well as promote and add additional team members to supplement growth in the greater Knoxville and Chattanooga areas."

Gallaher's Alcoa headquarters recently welcomed Alyssa Antal, service coordinator; Teresa Baldwin, CFO; Brandon Wood, install technician; Blaine Melius, install technician; Jeremiah Mowdy, install helper; Patrick Seaton, install helper; Dalton Ruby, install helper; Mathew Mann, install helper; David Parsons, IT manager; Dan Shinabarger, IT specialist; John Simpson, designer/project manager; Larry Vaughn, service sales; and CAD and engineering intern Jake Traxler.   

Recent promotions include:

• Tim Cannon to inspection technician
• David Coleman to head project and installation manager
• Barret Gray to service sales
• Jim Humphrey to director of human resources
• Ken Martin to install lead
• Kevin Thomas to Chattanooga area manager
• Kevin Tipton to designer/project manager
• Anthony Veal to install lead
• Marc Benton to Chattanooga service supervisor

With Beth Boutwell transitioning to director of purchasing and special projects.

Gallaher also welcomed Jeff Burns, service sales; Vicki Kniat, administrator; Brycen Thomas, install helper; and the return of Tim Travis, sales, to their Chattanooga facility.

In addition, Gallaher added Carlos Ayala, service sales, in the Nashville market.
