GALA Teams with ManpowerGroup to Launch Global Talent Program

WASHINGTON, June 28, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- The Globalization and Localization Association (GALA), with the support of ManpowerGroup,  the world leader in innovative workforce solutions, is launching the Global Talent Program (GTP). The program will highlight the critical need for foreign language skills in the global workforce and will work with the professional language industry and other sectors to meet the growing demand for multilingual talent worldwide.

A broad and collaborative program, the GTP aims to reinforce multilingual competencies as a core requirement for today's global workforce, as well as to build an objective, consensus-driven system for understanding, measuring and evaluating those skills.
