GAITS Appoints Harry C. Thornsvard as President and Chief Operating Officer

FAIRFAX, Va., June 2, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Global Analytic Information Technology Services (GAITS) announces that it has appointed Harry C. Thornsvard as President and Chief Operating Officer for the corporation. Mr. Thornsvard comes to GAITS from TranTech where he served as the company's Chief Operating Officer. With GAITS, Mr. Thornsvard will oversee all of the company's operations and business development activities. Mr. Thornsvard brings the strategy, vision, and operational excellence that will leverage the company's Cyber Security credentials and positioning in the Department of Energy labs to even greater growth and diversification into the federal marketplace.

Mr. Thornsvard is a highly experienced corporate executive who brings 35 years of experience in corporate and military organizations.  Since leaving the Army after 22 years of service, Mr. Thornsvard has served in corporate leadership positions in TranTech, Inc (COO)., RDR Inc.(President & CEO), CACI (SVP), Premier Technology Group (COO), and The Logistics Company.  Mr. Thornsvard brings both large and small business experience to GAITS and the knowledge he has gained in his progressive career positions will enhance and position GAITS for the growth planned in the coming years.  In addition to growing revenue and improving margins for the organizations he has worked for, he has also successfully executed and orchestrated mergers and acquisitions activities.
