Gainer, Donnelly & Desroches, LLP Announces Mid-Year Promotions

HOUSTON, June 27, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Gainer, Donnelly & Desroches, LLP (GD&D), the top Houston based accounting firm in the Southwest region, today announced several promotions.

Colin Taylor has been promoted to a Senior Manager within the Tax department. His focus is on corporate, partnership and trust taxation. Colin joined the firm in 2004 and has been a licensed CPA in the state of Texas since 2006.  He has a BS and MA in accounting from Auburn University. Ana Gallardo was promoted to a Senior Manager in the Audit department. Her focus is on nonprofits and employee benefit plans. She has been a licensed CPA in the state of Texas since 2004 and has a BBA in Accounting from the University of Houston. Ana has over twelve years of public accounting experience and started her career at GD&D.

Arif Wakani, Benji Rodriguez, Cynthia Sutton, Ethel Villanueva, Jana Smith, Kristy Smithers, and Nazish Khan join 10 other Supervisors within the firm. Courtney Robins, Danny Tran, and Jon Czerwinski were promoted to Senior Associates. The firm announced these promotions hot on the heels of its move to Two Riverway, where it will be expanding to almost 45,000 square feet of space on the 15th and 16th floors.
