Gaggle Wins Bronze at the 2015 Stevie(R) Awards for Sales & Customer Service
EdTech leader recognized for its commitment to customer service
BLOOMINGTON, Ill., Feb. 28, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Gaggle, a leader in educational technology for more than 15 years, received a Bronze Award for Front-Line Customer Service Team of the Year during the 9th Annual Stevie® Awards for Sales & Customer Service gala banquet held yesterday at the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada.
More than 1,900 nominations from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were evaluated in this year's competition. The average scores of 139 professionals worldwide, acting as preliminary judges, determined the finalists. Entries were considered in 54 categories for customer service and contact center achievements. More than 100 members of several specialized judging committees determined the Gold, Silver and Bronze Stevie Award placements from among all of the finalists.
"The Stevie Awards for Sales & Customer Service continues to be the fastest-growing of our international awards programs," said Michael Gallagher, president and founder of the Stevie Awards. "The sheer number of nominations is matched by the increasing quality of those nominations. We congratulate all of this year's winners."
Part of Gaggle's nomination included the following:
No one enjoys navigating through automated phone attendants, so actual members of Gaggle's customer service team field all inbound support calls within the first two rings. Live Chat support inquiries are replied to within eight seconds, while email responses occur within minutes, if not seconds.
"It is an honor to be named a Bronze Award winner for Front-Line Customer Service Team of the Year," said Heather Durkac, Gaggle's vice president of customer operations. "Our customer service team is comprised of hard-working individuals who truly believe in our product and in Gaggle's mission to keep students safe. The team works hard to provide exceptional customer service on a daily basis on each and every customer interaction."
