BLOOMINGTON, Ill., Jan. 23, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Gaggle, a leader in educational technology for more than 15 years, today announced that Bill McCullough has joined the company as Vice President of Sales. McCullough, a seasoned sales professional with over two decades experience in education and commercial accounts, will be responsible for directing Gaggle's national sales efforts.
Prior to joining Gaggle, McCullough was Vice President at Odysseyware, a provider of online curriculum and learning solutions. He also spent time as a Regional Vice President at CompassLearning, which followed a 13-year career in various management roles at IBM. "I am very excited to be joining a company that makes such a positive impact on children's lives and in schools every day," he said. "As a father of two school-age children, I recognize the need for schools to work with Gaggle to facilitate learning inside and outside of the classroom while keeping students safe."
Coinciding with the hiring of McCullough, Gaggle promoted two longtime, valuable employees to its leadership team.
Heather Durkac has been named Vice President, Customer Operations. Durkac spent the past eight years as Gaggle's Director of Account Management & Training. She is responsible for customer service, the successful maintenance and growth of key accounts, as well as the development, implementation and presentation of onsite professional development sessions.
As Gaggle's Vice President, Strategic Initiatives, Andrea Keith will lead the development of priorities and plans to help drive customer success. A former elementary school teacher, Keith spent the past nine years in various roles at Gaggle, most recently as Director of Client Engagement, leading the company's implementation department.
"With the addition of Bill to our leadership team, Gaggle is extremely well prepared to continue our growth," said Jeff Patterson, Gaggle's CEO and founder. "Heather and Andrea are two great individuals who bring incredible value to Gaggle. They've both stuck with me over the years, and for those who know me that says a lot about both of them!"
