Tomer Harpaz was appointed V.P. Strategy & Business Development and member of the Strauss Group Executive Team, effective July 18.

In his capacity, Tomer will be responsible for formulating and steering group and company-level business strategies, managing business development processes across the Group, and building and developing technologic innovation.
Tomer started his career in strategic consulting as manager of POC, one of Israel's largest strategic consulting firms which served as a consultant to leading companies in the Israeli economy. He subsequently turned to the managerial domain and served as CEO of ARA Minerals, a company specializing in building mines overseas. In this framework he set up and managed a mining company in Madagascar. Later on in his career, he applied his entrepreneurship and strategic skills in building new ventures and businesses in communication, finance and consumer products. Among other projects, he was the founder and chairman of re:bar.
