G6 Hospitality Launches Enterprise-Wide Initiative To Support Recruitment, Hiring Of U.S. Veterans
"Operation Next Step" Will Support Success of Blackstone Group's Veterans Initiative
DALLAS, Jan. 7, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- G6 Hospitality, known for its iconic economy lodging brands Motel 6 and Studio 6, announced a new company-wide initiative to support the hiring of U.S. military veterans and their spouses. The mission of the new program, Operation Next Step, is to better integrate veterans into the G6 Hospitality workforce, with an immediate goal of hiring up to 250 veterans across the enterprise in 2015.
Operation Next Step focuses on creating a dedicated organizational infrastructure that supports veterans, including effective hiring tools and career tracking platforms for men and women who have completed military service. Within the next few months, the program will launch several new recruiting tools and employee resources. This initiative supports the pledge of The Blackstone Group to help veterans embark on successful careers after serving our country.
