G4S North America Training Institute Receives 2017 BEST Award

JUPITER, Fla., Oct. 26, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- G4S North America Training Institute (NATI) was honored with a BEST Award from the Association for Talent Development (ATD). G4S was one of 38 organizations from eight countries to receive the 2017 BEST Award and one of 20 companies to receive the BEST Award for three or more years.

In total, 175 organizations from 11 countries were considered. Applications were assessed in a blind review by members of the BEST Awards advisory committee, a select group of experts in the field. The ATD BEST Awards are the talent development industry's most rigorous awards, recognizing organizations that demonstrate enterprise-wide success through talent development.

Members of the Training and Development team received the BEST Award during a ceremony on October 5, 2017 at the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center outside Washington, D.C. Prior to the ceremony, G4S Vice President of Training and Development, Carmen Murrell Randall, served on the Effective Talent Development Strategies for Dispersed Workforce panel, discussing how her team executes talent development programs for diverse and dispersed workforces.

In 2016, G4S expanded G4Su, the company's corporate university, to include all of the company's business units in North America, resulting in a 67 percent increase in usage within the first six months. G4S also launched Promote Me! in 2015, a program that works alongside the company's career center designed to identify, engage and provide professional and personal development support to employees throughout North America.
