G-SHOCK Reveals New Aged Rose Gold IP GRAVITYMASTER
New Color with Ion Plating Gives GRAVITYMASTER Vintage-Inspired Luxury Upgrade
DOVER, N.J., Jan. 20, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, Casio G-SHOCK unveils a new GRAVITYMASTER model featuring an aged rose gold case design with distinct ion plating treatment. The GPW1000RG-1A represents the latest rose gold color scheme addition to the Master of G line.
The rose gold bezel, crown, back cover, buttons, band ring and buckle feature a distinctive texture created by an aging process, which lends an element of vintage-inspiration to the elegant coloring. Ion plating treatment adds increased scratch-resistance for unmatched toughness. The inside of the band, the second hand, and embedded coloring of the button at 4 o'clock are bright red, reflecting G-SHOCK's heritage brand color.
As with previous GPW1000 models, this timepiece boasts latitude indicator, plus GPS Hybrid Wave Ceptor technology, which combines Multiband 6 capabilities, and Tough Solar capacity for the most precise timekeeping anywhere in the world. An airplane mode function also simplifies the task of disabling and re-enabling signal emission from the watch, as varying conditions will require. The watch also features a carbon fiber insert band, the Sapphire crystal and Triple G Resist construction for advanced G-SHOCK toughness.
Additionally, the GPW1000RG-1A comes equipped with all standard G-SHOCK technology, including 200M water resistance, a LED Light with a Super Illuminator, shock resistance, World Time, a daily alarm, a Full Auto calendar, 1/20-second Stopwatch, 12/24hr formats, and a countdown timer.
The GPW1000RG-1A will retail for $1,000 USD beginning in February 2017 at selected jewelers, selected Macy's, shopcasio.com, and the G-SHOCK Soho Store.
