G-SHOCK Adds Vintage Rose Gold Theme to Master of G
Models feature rose gold accents for a vintage, sophisticated look
DOVER, N.J., Jan. 12, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, Casio G-SHOCK unveils the latest models for its Master of G series, which feature a new rose gold color scheme. An evolution of the Master of G vintage gold theme introduced last year, the new GRAVITYMASTER (GA1100RG-1A), MUDMASTER (GG1000RG-1A) and GULFMASTER (GN1000RG-1A) will each feature vintage-inspired rose gold accents for a refined look combined with G-SHOCK's unmistakable toughness.
The new rose gold hue adds an updated look to the vintage gold theme, which is inspired by weathered tools and machinery that have endured years of service. Designed to withstand extreme conditions anywhere on earth – air, land or sea – each model is equipped with G-SHOCK's Twin Sensor technology, which includes a compass to determine location, as well as a temperature gauge. In addition, the GA1100RG-1A, GG1000RG-1 and GN1000RG-1A feature Shock Resistance, 200M water resistance, an Auto LED Super Illuminator Light, World Time, 5 daily alarms, a 1/100th-second Stopwatch, 12/24hr formats, and a countdown timer.
Separately, the GRAVITYMASTER (GA1100RG-1A) also includes Neo-brite Luminous Hands & markers and Dual World Time, while the MUDMASTER (GG1000RG-1A) boasts a mud-resist structure and the GULFMASTER (GN1000RG-1A) features a moon graph and tide indicator.
The GA1100RG-1A has a case size of 52.1mm and will retail for $250, the GG1000RG-1A has a case size of 55.3mm and will retail for $320, and the GN1000RG-1A has a case size of 53.4 and will retail for $300 beginning in February 2017 at G-SHOCK retailers, including Macy's, shopcasio.com, and the G-SHOCK Soho Store.
About G-SHOCK
CASIO's shock-resistant G-SHOCK watch is synonymous with toughness, born from the developer Mr. Ibe's dream of 'creating a watch that never breaks'. Over 200 handmade samples were created and tested to destruction until finally in 1983 the first, now iconic G-SHOCK hit the streets of Japan and began to establish itself as 'the toughest watch of all time'. Each watch encompasses the 7 elements; electric shock resistance, gravity resistance, low temperature resistance, vibration resistance, water resistance, shock resistance and toughness. The watch is packed with Casio innovations and technologies to prevent it from suffering direct shock; this includes internal components protected with urethane and suspended timekeeping modules inside the watch structure. Since its launch, G-SHOCK has continued to evolve, continuing to support on Mr. Ibe's mantra "never, never give up." www.gshock.com
