MIAMI, June 7, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- G Marine, Miami's "European Yacht Boutique" is preparing for the upcoming Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show and the 2017 Yachts Miami Beach, by securing two of the Fairline Yachts new models, the Squadron 53 Flybridge and the 48 Targa Open. Both boats represent models that are among the most popular of the UK-based Fairline range and with the new Italian design input from Alberto Mancini and naval engineering expertise from the Dutch firm, Vripack, G Marine sees an international confluence that ideally suits its clientele.

"We were so impressed by the commitment of the new ownership of Fairline when we visited the company in London earlier this year," said David Galante, partner of G Marine, "Though the brand has a nearly 50-year history, they are not content to rest on their laurels, but are investing in new designs and construction methods to stay on top of the evolving boating market."
Fairline's commitment was demonstrated by the decision to involve Vripack for added engineering integrity and Mancini for a fresh outlook in design. As he brings experience from larger yachts to the cruiser market, Mancini compares the relationship with Fairline to the partnership between Italian styling houses like Pininfarina, Touring Superleggera and Zagato, and famous British carmakers in the 1950s and 60s. "I am looking forward to creating a "new era of Fairline yachts," he says.
Galante feels the Squadron 53 provides an ideal boating platform for families who want to enjoy the open air of the flybridge, have a roomy interior, yet still be able to have the owner, captain the boat and enjoy the company of his guests. "A 53' boat is easy to pilot and dock—especially with the stock bow thruster--and this boat will be a totally new design that will encompass all of the new insights from Alberto Mancini—we are eager to see it here in early 2017." The new 53 Squadron will debut at the London Boat Show in January, travel to Boot Dusseldorf, then arrive in South Florida for its US sea trial at the Yachts Miami Beach Show in February 2017.
The Targa 48 Open is another G Marine customer favorite for the boater who likes the comfort of an interior helm with many creature comforts found in larger boats. The stock Targa has a retractable canvas top, while the Gran Turismo model has a retractable hard top; both bring the outside, in when desired. As with the Squadron 53, the Targa 48 is easy to operate, sleeps up to 7 people and has an ample garage, galley, large bow sun pad and submersible swim platform.
"We have a diverse customer base, ranging from North, Central and South America," says Galante, "While their boating styles differ, we offer variety within the range of Fairline yachts. We are pleased to continue our long-standing relationship with the brand—we began as the dealer in Southern California many years ago and the company brought us to South Florida where we have enjoyed much success. We look forward to what is ahead as Fairline continues to grow, evolve and maintain its position as the UK's premier production yacht builder."
