FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., July 6, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- G Marine, "The European Yacht Boutique" in Fort Lauderdale, is planning a full schedule of international boat shows for the upcoming season. Starting at the Yachting Festival in Cannes, September 12-17, G Marine will be present at the debut of the Astondoa 100 Century, from the Spanish custom shipbuilder. The new Targa 63 GTO from Fairline Yachts, the iconic UK brand which will be commemorating 50 years in the boatbuilding business and the Evo WalkAround from the Italian Evo Yachts.
Astondoa continues broadening its horizons with the Century line
Commemorating its centennial celebration in 2016, Astondoa introduced the Century line - which ranges from 90 feet up to 130 feet- with the launching of the 110 Century yacht "Sophye". This summer, the Spanish shipyard is planning to unveil the new 100 Century model at the 2017 Cannes Yachting Festival. Embracing the concept of a Megayacht inside a smaller custom yacht, the Astondoa 100 Century is the result of a joint effort between Astondoa in house creative team and the interior design by Cristiano Gatto.
Just like its larger sibling, the 100 Century benefits from a notably elevated wheelhouse, leaving plenty of room for a full-beam master cabin on the main deck. Four cabins situated on the lower deck provides accommodation to a total of 10 guests plus additional crew cabins forward for four.
When it comes to power; the Astondoa 100 Century reportedly makes 26 knots on the top end with a 22-knot cruising speed, with its Twin 2.186 hp MTU.
The flag-bearer of Fairline's future design
Summer 2017 will mark 50 years of Fairline in the boat business, and the British boatbuilder couldn't have chosen a more appropriate moment than their Golden Anniversary to unveil the new generation of Fairlines combining the talents of Italian designer Alberto Mancini and Dutch naval architects Vripack. The first of Fairline's new generation includes the Targa 63 GTO, which will be unveiled in Cannes.
The sleeker style of the new Targa 63 GTO is Mancini's interpretation of Fairline's heritage, carried through a new shape which clearly retains the UK boatbuilder's DNA.
Maximizing space and comfort are the key features of the Targa 63 GTO, with every inch optimized while offering complete flexibility of layout with a multitude of options to suit each individual customer. For those who want to enjoy the fresh sea air, the Targa 63 GTO's saloon has a glazed panoramic retractable sunroof, powered windows and "patio" glass doors which disappear below decks to open up the cockpit and saloon into one long entertainment space.
Regardless of specification, owners will find a large saloon and cockpit as well as an impressive full-beam master cabin with adjoining en-suite. The expansive cruiser's layout configurations provide flexibility for three or four suites (including the master).
With standard twin 1,134hp Caterpillar C18 engines, the Targa 63 GTO can easily achieve 31 knots where speed is a need! Twin 1,200 hp MAN V8 are optional.
After debuting at Cannes, the 63 GTO will make its U.S. debut at Fort Lauderdale.
Evo Yachts extends its range with a walk-around.
Evo Yachts pushed again the boundaries of boat design with its latest creation, the Evo 43 WA. Designed by Italian naval architect Valerio Rivellini and built by Sea Engineering Group, the new Evo 43 WA allows users to 'walk around' the helm station, moving easily between the stern beach area and the bow.
As in the previous model, form and function blend exactly as they should. With the push of a button on an iPad, the cockpit expands near the stern, increasing the space on the beach area by 40 % to 270 square feet in less than 30 seconds.
The boat can be built in several color options for the hull and upholstery. Power comes from a pair of 435hp VOLVO PENTA IPS 600 engines, combined with the 18° deadrise deep-V hull, which propel the Evo WA to a comfortable cruising speed of 32 knots, topping out at 40 knots.
As the exclusive dealer for Astondoa, Fairline Yachts, Evo Yachts and other European Brands, Florida-based G Marine offers a fine, diverse selection of new and brokerage yachts for any need.
