Futuri Media's Sustained Growth Continues with the Appointment of Marty Shagrin and Kimberly Peters to Key Roles
The company's sustained growth has also earned it Inc 5000 Honor Roll status and a spot on the 2018 Weatherhead 100.
CLEVELAND, Oct. 11, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Futuri Media, a global leader in technology designed to drive audience and revenue growth for broadcasters, today announced key additions to its team from the financial and technology communities. The experience they bring to the company is intended to further drive its sustained growth, which was recently recognized by Futuri being named to the Honor Roll of the Inc 5000 List of America's Fastest Growing Private Companies, having earned placement on the list, which is based on year-over-year growth, a remarkable five years running.
Marty Shagrin has been named SVP, Strategy & Corporate Development for Futuri Media. In this role, Marty will drive Futuri's M&A and Corporate Development initiatives, analyze company performance and trends, and lead financial strategy and planning activity. Prior to joining Futuri, Shagrin spent 18 years at investment management firm Victory Capital, most recently as Research Analyst and Portfolio Manager, where he was active in researching and investing in companies across all market sectors and specialized in due diligence on investment opportunities in the Technology, Media, and Consumer industries.
Kimberly Peters has been named General Manager, Partner Success for Futuri Media. In this role, Peters will lead the Partner Success team, a group of strategists, primarily with media programming backgrounds, who work with Futuri partners to develop client-specific strategies to drive their objectives, deliver results, and maximize their ROI. Peters joins Futuri from Oracle, where she served as a Senior Customer Experience Strategist, a key role in developing customer success programs for the multi-billion dollar company's SaaS clients.
These staff moves come at a particularly active period in Futuri's sustained period of growth. Recently named to the 2018 Inc 5000 List of America's Fastest Growing Private Companies, this year's win earned Futuri a spot on the Inc 5000 Honor Roll as a five-time honoree, something fewer than 10% of all Inc 5000 honorees achieve. Futuri was also recently named to the Weatherhead 100, which recognizes an elite group of Northeast Ohio companies with a high percentage of revenue growth over the past five years. Futuri's win in 2018 marks their fifth year on the list.
"Futuri has demonstrated sustained growth through our commitment to our partners' success. Our team is focused on driving ratings, revenue, and digital engagement growth for our clients," said Futuri Media CEO Daniel Anstandig. "With Marty Shagrin in his new SVP, Strategy & Corporate Development role, and Kimberly Peters leading our Partner Success efforts, our high-performing team adds invaluable experience from the financial and technology sectors and furthers our strategy of investing in the best technology and highly skilled and talented leadership."
