Future Of Higher Education Forum To Be Held At Capitol Hill On Sept. 12, 2013
WASHINGTON, Sept. 10, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Thursday, September 12th the Governmental Studies program at Johns Hopkins University Advanced Academic Programs will be hosting a forum on the future of higher education. Chair of the Center for Advanced Governmental Studies and author of The Fall of the Faculty, Dr. Benjamin Ginsberg, will lead the panel discussion.
Other panelists that will be in attendance include: Benjamin Wildavsky, director of higher education studies at the State University of New York's Rockefeller Institute of Government, policy professor at SUNY-Albany, and author of The Great Brain Race; Jeffrey Selingo, Editor-at-Large of the Chronicle of Education and author of College Unbound and a 2001 Hopkins alumni; and Naomi Schaefer Riley author of The Faculty Lounges… And Other Reasons You Won't Get the College Education You Pay For.
A reception celebrating the Governmental Studies program's 20 year anniversary will follow after the panel discussion. The event will take place at the Congressional Visitor's Center located at East Capitol Street NE and 1st Street NE, Washington DC. The event starts at 6pm and ends at 8.
