Fusion-io Appoints Ian Whiting as Executive Vice President, Global Field Operations

SALT LAKE CITY, Dec. 2, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Fusion-io (NYSE: FIO) today announced that Ian Whiting has joined the company as executive vice president, global field operations, where he will lead the worldwide Fusion-io sales team.  Previously senior vice president sales, Americas at Riverbed Technology, as well as senior vice president worldwide sales at Brocade Communications, Whiting has a proven track record of global sales leadership at leading enterprise information technology companies.  At Brocade Communications, Whiting developed and implemented go-to-market strategies that helped Brocade grow from approximately $500 million to more than $2 billion in annual sales through a blend of OEM, channel, and direct sales.
