Fusion-io Appoints Charlie Foo as Vice President, Asia Pacific Japan

SALT LAKE CITY, Jan. 22, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Fusion-io (NYSE: FIO) today announced that Charlie Foo will join the company as vice president of the Asia Pacific Japan (APJ) region effective February 3, 2014. Based in Singapore, Foo will oversee sales, marketing, customer service, and OEM and channel partner development. Previously Asia Pacific vice president at Brocade, Foo brings years of experience leading operations in the region to execute corporate strategies for growth within diverse local markets.

Prior to joining Fusion-io, Foo lead Asia Pacific operations at Brocade Communications Systems. While at Brocade, Foo was responsible for building highly integrated sales and marketing teams across China, Japan, India, Australia, New Zealand, South East Asia, and surrounding major markets. Foo has also served in senior leadership positions at Symantec, IBM Corporation and Compaq Computers, and holds an MBA from the University of Dubuque, Iowa.
