Fulton Innovation's Two-Way Wireless Power Named A Finalist In The CNET Best Of CES Awards At The 2013 International CES
New Technology both Receives and Sends Wireless Power Using the Qi Standard
LAS VEGAS, Jan. 11, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Fulton Innovation, the creator and exclusive licensor of eCoupled™ intelligent wireless power, announced it has been selected by the editors at CNET as a finalist in this year's Best of CES Awards for its eCoupled two-way wireless power. The demo on display in Fulton's booth at CES shows that by simply placing an eCoupled-enabled tablet and Qi mobile phone back-to-back, the power transfers wirelessly between them (Video: bit.ly/VSzTpF).
The Best of CES Awards, the official awards of CES, are produced and judged by CNET and recognize the hottest products at the 2013 CES, including a Best of Show and People's Voice Award selected by the CNET online audience. The awards recognize the most innovative products that set the standard for all other products in the industry. Leading up to and throughout the show, CNET editors will be blogging about pre-show, buzz-worthy products in a variety of tech categories, including mobile apps, televisions, tablets, and cell phones and smartphones.
Fulton's two-way wireless power demonstrates the depth and breadth of the Qi wireless power standard, giving manufacturers the most options for the lowest cost. Also on display at Fulton's CES booth are examples of spatial freedom, multi-device charging, and medium power.
Videos of the finalist products can be found at http://www.cnet.com/ces. Fulton Innovation is showing many more wireless power demonstrations and applications on display at CES in suite S116 in the South Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center.
