Fullbridge Expands Future Leaders Summits to New York, San Francisco
NEW YORK, Oct. 7, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Fullbridge, an education technology company that prepares students and young professionals to succeed in the global economy, announces an expansion of its Future Leaders Summits, co-hosted by Google. The first Fall summit kicked off in New York City on October 3, followed by a summit in San Francisco on November 7.
The interactive day-long programs bring together college students and young professionals to learn, network, and design solutions to real world problems. The summits will propel students into their professional lives by performing a career vision assessment, introducing them to potential employers and mentors, and curating e-portfolios of their work.
"These summits welcome the best and brightest students from the country's leading education hubs," said Candice Carpenter Olson, Co-founder and Executive Chair of Fullbridge. "It is a chance for them to tap into their problem solving skills and network with some of the most sought-after companies in the world."
The summit featured a keynote address from Jenni Maier, Managing Editor of The Muse.
"Finding a job you love is as easy as finding a company with the right culture for you," said Maier. "It's so important that motivated, ambitious students not only hear this, but understand it as they're beginning their job search."
Fullbridge also partnered with Seelio, a career preparation technology platform, to create e-portfolios which students can use to digitally display their talents and work.
"Our goal is to help students know how to articulate their skills and abilities to employers," said Moses Lee, co-founder of Seelio and Group President at Keypath Education.
