Fulfilling Holiday Cheer: Radial Fulfillment Centers in Northern Kentucky Bringing on 3,500 Workers to Support Retail's Busiest Time of Year
By saying "yes" to Radial, workers will have access to competitive wages, flexible work schedules and opportunities to become full-time associates in various positions
RICHWOOD, Ky., Aug. 20, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Radial, a bpost group company, today announced its plan to bring on an additional 3,500 workers in Northern Kentucky to support the increased demand during the upcoming holiday season. As eCommerce grows and expectations around delivery evolves, job opportunities in fulfillment centers have expanded dramatically as warehouse operations can have a direct impact on the consumer experience.
With the rise of eCommerce, there are now more than one million warehouse workers fulfilling online orders in the U.S. according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics – a five percent increase in available jobs from 2017. With demand for fulfillment talent growing increasingly competitive, Radial differentiates itself through its commitment to a positive work environment. Seasonal workers enjoy the benefits of competitive hourly wages, a fun and fast-paced team environment, flexible work schedules, overtime and holiday pay, employee discounts, and a referral bonus program. The fulfillment centers in Richwood also provide holiday meals and fun events, giving workers a chance to unwind while at work.
Seasonal hires will join the more than 2,950 regular, full-time employees at Radial's 20 fulfillment centers across the country to help pack and ship customers' holiday orders. For individuals seeking long-term employment, there is opportunity for seasonal associates to transition into full-time positions in some markets.
At the fulfillment centers in Richwood, seasonal hires will have the chance to work with some of the world's favorite brands and retailers including EXPRESS. Workers will source orders and send them to their final destinations faster using Radial's technology, fulfillment and transportation solutions.
"With a recent study from Radial finding 34 percent of U.S. shoppers expect to receive their packages in two-days or less, our team of fulfillment associates work behind the scenes to ensure every order runs seamlessly," said Sean McCartney, executive vice president, operations services, at Radial. "We're thrilled to be creating so many additional jobs in Richwood and are excited to welcome back the seasonal workers who return each year. If you thrive in an energized, fast-paced, and rewarding workplace, and are looking to be a part of something bigger this holiday season, we'd love for you to join our team."
If candidates are looking for more than just a seasonal job, Radial currently has many opportunities to become a full-time associate.
