STAMFORD, Conn., Nov. 21, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- FUJIFILM Medical Systems U.S.A., Inc., a leading provider of diagnostic imaging products and medical informatics solutions, will display the all-new FDR Go PLUS version portable digital radiography system among its suite of mobile digital radiography (DR) solutions including the FDR AQRO at Fujifilm booth #4111 (South Hall) of McCormick Place in Chicago at the 103rd scientific assembly and annual meeting of the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA).

The all-new FDR Go PLUS version features a new sleek redesign continuing its signature smooth, quiet travel and compact tube head – and now with a collapsible column for maximum visibility while traveling. The portable DR system also features an extra-large display for optimal previewing at the bedside, agile maneuverability and smooth quiet travel to minimize patient disturbance. Other enhancements include user adjustable drive handle (option), wireless barcode reader (option), an RFID card reader (option) and extensive dedicated storage areas. Software features of the new portable DR system includes new workstation software with automated keypad display, quick start, our latest Virtual Grid simulation software (option) and Dynamic Visualization II image processing (option).
Unveiled at RSNA 2016, Fujifilm has begun installations of the FDR AQRO portable system across the United States. The FDR AQRO is a complete mini-digital x-ray system that combines the high sensitivity of Fujifilm's D-EVO II detectors and its refined image processing advancements to generate high resolution images with low patient dose. The system combines the best of Fujifilm's technologies including higher resolution and reduced dose with Irradiation Side Sampling (ISS), improved image contrast with Virtual Grid and the all new Dynamic Visualization II image processing to produce optimized images at gentle dose for all patient sizes and anatomy.
