Fuisz Announces Issuance of Patent for the New Generation of Glucose and Other Analyte Analyzers

MIAMI, Nov. 8, 2010 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Fuisz Pharma (www.fuisz.com) today announced the issuance of U.S. Patent 7,824,612 ("Bodily fluid analyzer, and system including same and method for programming same").

This patent enables and protects the new generation of glucose and analyte analyzers for home and institutional use.  It is directed at enabling the caregiver to provide better patient care in this era of wireless interconnectivity.  It also provides the pharmaceutical industry with a better tool for judging the efficacy of existing drug agents as well as drug development targets.
