CHICAGO, April 9, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- TIGI is proud to announce the opening of their first flagship salon location, Fuga Centro Salon and Spa in downtown Chicago.
Conveniently situated on the edge of Millennium Park, Fuga Centro Salon and Spa boasts a 3,100 square foot location offering exclusive TIGI Copyright custom treatments including the Shine, Repair and Smooth Boosters. The salon will also offer the exclusive Copyright SOS Extreme Recovery Treatment, which returns the hair to virgin strength in just five minutes. TIGI Copyright is a bespoke, customizable in-salon hair care product line and color range created to personalize the salon experience for each client.
TIGI's decision to launch its very first Copyright salon in Chicago stemmed from the brand's existing relationship with Favaro and its ongoing emphasis on professional haircare education; the Chicago location is the brand's mid-west education hub. "We are thrilled to introduce Copyright in Chicago with Salon Fuga. The salon's deep-rooted belief in ongoing education, best in class service, tremendously talented team and spectacular location make it the perfect partner for TIGI in this vibrant salon market," said Elisa Fischer, General Manager, TIGI Americas & APAC.
Fuga Centro Salon owner and Artistic Director, Antonio Favaro, has been a well-regarded hair stylist and salon owner for over four decades, training under icons such as Dessange, Vidal Sassoon, Llongueras and Sanrizz. He remains at the forefront of his profession working and educating other stylists through the Academia Fuga.
"Creativity, innovation, education - this is the TIGI culture. To be a part of this family, it's motivating, and it's the reason Fuga is so enthusiastic about this collaboration," Fuga Centro Salon owner and Artistic Director, Antonio Favaro.

ABOUT Antonio Favaro
Artistic Director | Owner
As a young man in his native Sicily, Antonio Favaro began an apprenticeship under his uncle, Enzo Martorana. Bursting onto the hair scene of Rome in 1986, he began to work with such icons of style as I Sargassi, Rolando Elisei, and Bruno Pittini of Dessange. Making his mark in top fashion destinations including New York, Milan, and London, Antonio's professional training has included Dessange, Vidal Sassoon, Llongueras, and Sanrizz.
After establishing his own successful salon in beautiful and historic Modena, Antonio came to the United States and in 2004 opened Fuga Salon & Spa - his mission: to bring Italian style and service to the Midwest. Fuga quickly established itself as one of the top salons in Chicago. Never one to rest on his laurels, Antonio continually strives to ensure that Fuga remains on the cutting edge by collaborating with his colleagues in Italy to bring the newest trends and techniques to America. Antonio remains at the forefront of his profession, working out of his two Chicago salons, and educating through Accademia Fuga.
