FT Portfolios Canada Co. announces the termination of First Trust Raymond James Canadian Focus Picks Portfolio

TORONTO, June 24, 2013 /CNW/ - FT Portfolios Canada Co., the manager of First Trust Raymond James Canadian Focus Picks Portfolio (the "Fund"), announced today its intention to terminate the Fund effective on or about August 29, 2013.  The Fund is closed to new purchases of shares effective immediately.

Shareholders will continue to have the right to redeem their shares in the Fund prior to the termination date.  All shares not redeemed prior to the termination date will be automatically redeemed at that time.  Shares of the Fund are and will continue to be qualified investments for registered plans.

In accordance with applicable securities legislation, shareholders of the Fund will be provided 60 days' advance written notice of the termination.
