The camp is for boys and girls ages 7-14 and will take place June 15-16 at Ardrey Kell High School in Charlotte, N.C. Both days the camp will run from 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Employees and customers of FSIoffice were given the opportunity to register a child they know for a chance to be randomly selected to attend the camp for free. An online submission form, located on the company's website was available from May 16-25. Out of the 75 submissions that were made, six names were drawn on Friday.
"We are always looking for new ways to reach out to the youth in our community and this proved to be a great opportunity," said Kim Leazer, vice president of sales and customer service, FSIoffice. "These camps not only teach football, but the kids learn teamwork and sportsmanship and we are proud to be a part of that."
The camp includes instructional stations, daily games and contests and instructional lectures from Steve Smith. Cam Newton will join Steve Smith on the first day of the camp. The normal fee for the 2-day experience is $149.
