The center provides tooling and production facilities for a complete range of processes used to develop interior products such as instrument panels, door trim, consoles, headliners, seats, headrests and more.
The center houses an array of specialized equipment, including VarioForm thermoforming machinery and tooling – which includes complete In-Mold Graining (IMG) capabilities; JoinLine infrared and ultrasonic welding equipment; polyurethane rigid and semi-flexible foam-in-place metering equipment and tooling; FlexTrim router process equipment and fixturing; invisible air bag scoring equipment and fixturing; the PUReLine polyurethane spray system and more. It also features two secure trial test bays for customers to run pre-production prototypes.

A new state-of-the-art thermoforming machine with full IMG and In-Mold Grain Lamination (IMGL) capabilities, as well as a newly designed FRIMO Press Lamination press, are planned for 2014. Both offer low cost design options for luxury materials.
"These new investments will further expand our capabilities to debug, prove-out and service our complete line-up of tooling technologies," said Daily. "They will also provide our customers the opportunity on production style machines for plant personnel training, new product development and process optimization for programs currently in production."
